AIK bid for Oskar Ågren as losing streak deepens

AIK bid for Oskar Ågren

AIK have made an offer for Gais defender Oskar Ågren (1) (2). The 28-year-old centre-back is a direct target now that the record sale of Zadok Yohanna to Brighton has given the club funds to spend this summer (1).

Ågren has been a mainstay for Gais. No word yet on whether the bid meets their valuation, but AIK are pushing.

The table, as it stands

Your team sits 10th after 10 rounds, 12 points and a minus-4 goal difference. Five straight losses in the league. The squad needs a lift, and the window is where it has to come.

Kovacs deal in the works

The club is also racing to finalise a deal for forward Robin Kovacs. Tight timeline. More on that as it firms up.

Women's team flying

AIK's women's side are third in Damallsvenskan after a 3–0 derby win over Djurgården, the first home derby victory since 2023. Ellie Junetoft, 17, and Olivia Garcia got the goals. Garcia celebrated with a tribute to pregnant teammate Linda Sembrant. Captain Jennie Nordin called it deeply satisfying. Djurgården's Alexandra Lobanova called the defeat embarrassing.
