AIK in three-way chase for Mjällby teen Hodzic

AIK are among three Allsvenskan clubs tracking 17-year-old Mjällby centre-back Dani Hodzic, whose contract expires this summer and could be available on a free transfer. BK Häcken and IFK Värnamo are also in the race for the teenager, who is free to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with any club outside Mjällby (1). For a side that has gone five league matches without a win and sits ninth in the table, adding a young, low-cost defensive prospect fits the longer-term thinking the club needs right now.
