Benkovic deal in danger
Filip Benkovic to AIK is at risk of collapsing. The two clubs cannot agree on the loan terms, and the deal could fall through entirely (1) (3). If no agreement is reached, Benkovic returns to Shenzhen Peng City. This is a significant blow: Benkovic was meant to be the defensive signing that solidified the backline after a summer of departures.
First bid lodged for Elvius
AIK have submitted their first bid for Hvidovre midfielder Marius Elvius (2). The 24-year-old Dane is under contract until 2028. A move would need both clubs to settle on a fee, and talks are ongoing.
Faqa left for minutes, not money
Ahmad Faqa chose Degerfors over staying at AIK. The 23-year-old centre-back wanted guaranteed playing time, something AIK could not offer despite wanting to keep him (4). The permanent move continues the well-established pipeline between the two clubs.
Uronen gone, no fee for AIK
Jere Uronen has joined Greek side Atromitos on a permanent deal (5) (6). AIK receive no financial return from the transfer. Recruiting chief Miika Takkula said: "I want to thank Jere on behalf of the club for his time at AIK last year and wish him all the best going forward" (5).
