The derby goal that shouldn't have been disallowed
SVT's refereeing expert Jonas Eriksson says it plainly: the goal should have stood (2). After the AIK–Djurgården derby, Eriksson went public with his criticism of the call, and didn't stop there. He questioned whether it was even appropriate to assign that particular referee to a match this big. "Is it wise of his bosses? I think it's wrong," Eriksson said on Fotbollsstudion (2). The referee made the wrong call on the night. That's the expert verdict.
Hallberg out, Örebro next
Fredrik Hallberg has drawn a line under his time at AIK (1). He spent the spring in France for family reasons, and now he's signed on with Örebro for a new chapter in SHL. On the winter departure from AIK, he says it wasn't a surprise at the time. No drama, just done (1).
