AIK win Faraj CAS case, full fee incoming
AIK have won the financial dispute over Omar Faraj. The Court of Arbitration for Sport ruled in your club's favour, and Zamalek must now pay the full transfer fee (1) (4).
Faraj moved to the Egyptian side in January, but the money never arrived. Now CAS has settled it. Every krona is due.
Söderberg out as club director
Fredrik Söderberg has been dismissed as AIK's club director. The board confirmed the decision, and Söderberg did not hide the sting: "It has been emotionally overwhelming," he said (2) (3).
The board statement pointed to a need for "different peak competencies" going forward (3). No successor has been named yet.
