Hodzic chase heats up

AIK are in the hunt for Mjällby's 17-year-old defensive talent Dani Hodzic, who could be available on a free transfer this summer. BK Häcken and IFK Värnamo are also tracking the centre-back, setting up a three-way battle for his signature. For an AIK side sitting ninth after five league matches without a win and already active in the market with deals for Viktor Lennartsson and Tim Theocharidis, adding a highly rated young defender would be a statement of intent. Hodzic's contract situation makes him an attractive target (1).
