Julia Ragnarsson joins AIK from Uppsala on deal through 2030

AIK have signed versatile defender Julia Ragnarsson from IK Uppsala on a long-term contract running through 2030 (1). The deal was confirmed Tuesday, with AIK's technical director Zinar Spindari stating: "We are very happy to present Julia as an AIK player on a long contract" (1). Ragnarsson arrives with the ability to play across the back line, adding depth to a squad that had twelve players unavailable for the recent 2–1 comeback win at IFK Göteborg. The signing comes at a moment when AIK sit 11th in the Allsvenskan table, just above the relegation fight, and reinforcements are badly needed.
