Arsenal host Coventry in the Premier League opener

Title defence starts tonight at the Emirates

Champions Arsenal kick off the 2026/27 Premier League season at home to promoted Coventry City on Friday (6) (8). Frank Lampard brings his side to the Emirates with Tzolis and Gustavo Hamer among the names to watch (6). Guimaraes a doubt for the opener

Bruno Guimaraes faces a race to be fit for Friday. Arteta gave a worrying update on the midfielder ahead of the Coventry clash (4). No confirmation yet on whether he makes the squad.

Jesus wanted by Atletico, Napoli, and two PL clubs
