Dowman's brace sends Arsenal through

Arteta: we have to be very careful
Mikel Arteta praised Dowman and then put a lid on it.
"He is 16 years old, and we have to be really careful. We do not want to stop him, we do not want to slow him down" (2) (4).
Arteta called the display "unbelievable" (4). The message to fans: enjoy it, but do not expect him every week.
Merino wore the armband and ran the game
Mikel Merino captained Arsenal against Ipswich, scored once and set up another in the 4–2 win (3).
He said he was "so proud" to lead the side out (3). With the squad rotating in the cup, he took the armband and made the case for more of it.
