Madueke off the bench, Forest beaten 1–0
Noni Madueke came on and settled it. Nottingham Forest 0–1 Arsenal at the City Ground on Sunday, the winner arriving ten minutes from time off a deflection (5). Your team were not good for long spells. They won anyway.
Madueke was clear about what he thinks of the squad around him: "If you look at the quality of our starting XI and bench, it's absurd" (1).
Three points behind City
Arsenal sit second on 18 points from seven games, three behind leaders Manchester City (3) (5). Form reads W L W W W, with that Brighton 3–0 defeat the one blot. Grinding out a scrappy away win in October is how title races get won, and this one did not need to be pretty (1) (5).

Bayern away on Wednesday
Champions League next. Bayern Munich away at 21:00 CEST on Wednesday, then Everton at home in the league on Saturday (Oct 24), then Liverpool away on Nov 1. Big week, and it starts in Munich.
Tresoldi linked, Ruiz talk too
