Trossard gone, Besiktas deal done at €18m
Leandro Trossard has left Arsenal. The Belgian winger completed his move to Besiktas on Wednesday for a fee of around €18m (2) (4) (6) (7). Arsenal posted a farewell message: the club thanked him for his contributions and wished him well for the future (7). Trossard himself recorded a video message for the fans. Saliba: 'My back is gone', 4 to 5 months out
This is the news that will keep you up. William Saliba told Dayot Upamecano "my back is gone, my back is gone" before coming off injured for France (4) (9). Surgery is being considered. If he goes under the knife, the 25-year-old could miss four to five months (1) (3). That means a return deep into the autumn. France may call up Maxcence LaCroix as cover (3).

Christos Tzolis deal could close by Monday
Arsenal are targeting Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis and a deal could be finalised by Monday 20 July (5) (10). No fee details yet, but the 24-year-old Greek international would add depth on the flank with Trossard now out the door.
