Tzolis is an Arsenal player, Leko confirms it
Christos Tzolis has signed for Arsenal. Club Brugge coach Ivan Leko confirmed it on Friday and he did not hold back on the praise (2).
"I am very happy for him. On the other hand I am very sad, because we are losing a top player," Leko said. "He came first to the training centre and left last. Every training was like a game for him, he gave so much for his career and then you get the reward of signing for one of the biggest clubs in Europe" (2).
Leko added he is convinced Tzolis will show he is a top player in the Premier League and Champions League (2).

Fan-reaktioner
The Saliba news hit hard. Fans on r/Gunners are reeling at the revelation he played through injections since March, only for it to become "unbearable." Plenty of frustration at the medical handling. The Tzolis confirmation, on the other hand, is landing well, Leko's emotional farewell is being read as a genuine endorsement. And the Konsa price tag has fans split: some saying walk away at £60m, others arguing you pay it and fix the defence now. Full thread here
