City lead £35M race for Atalanta right-back Palestra

Manchester City are reportedly leading the race to sign Atalanta right-back Marco Palestra (1). The 21-year-old has caught City's attention and is valued at around £35 million, with Pep Guardiola's side positioning themselves at the front of the queue. Atalanta have seen Palestra develop into one of Serie A's most promising young full-backs during his time at the club, though he has spent this season on loan at Cagliari.
