Chalobah to Como, deal agreed
Trevoh Chalobah is on his way out. Chelsea have accepted a €35m bid from Como after long negotiations, according to Italian sources (2). The defender has been available all summer and the club have held firm on their asking price. Done.
Asencio says no to Chelsea
Raúl Asencio does not want to come. Chelsea approached the Real Madrid defender but the 23-year-old rejected the move, he is determined to succeed at the Bernabéu (3). Mourinho has already decided Asencio has no future there, but the player is not budging.
Garnacho absent as Roma circle
Alejandro Garnacho was missing from the squad as Chelsea continue to work on his exit. Roma have made a loan-with-option offer and the club are hopeful a €50m deal can be wrapped up within two weeks (1). Attitude concerns and poor performances have pushed him toward the door.
