16 points, the worst start since 2018-19
Ten weeks in and Fenerbahçe have 16 points. That is their worst opening to a Süper Lig season since 2018-19 (1). You are sixth of 18 with a goal difference of +14, and the form line reads L W D L L.
The run before that number is what stings: a 6–0 Champions League collapse at Aston Villa on October 14, then a 3–0 home win over Alanyaspor, a 2–2 at home with Slavia Prague, a 2–1 derby defeat at Galatasaray on October 26, and a 1–2 loss to Goztepe at home on Saturday.
The numbers are one thing. The mood around the club is another (1).
