Extra security for Lille, and UEFA said no
Your club wants more protection in France. Galatasaray will ask for extra security around the Champions League match at Lille on Wednesday because of violence in the country (1) (10). Board member Eray Yazgan said UEFA turned down an application over the fixture: "UEFA kabul etmedi" (8). The match itself stays at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy as planned (10). A curfew is in place in Lille from this evening, so if you are travelling, check before you set off.
Singo back in full training
Wilfried Singo trained the whole session with the squad on 19 October ahead of Lille (2). Whether he makes the matchday squad is unconfirmed. After Barcelona won 4–1 at your place in the Champions League, getting him back matters.
Top of the table, but the front line is not scoring
You are first in the Süper Lig with 19 points from 8 games and a +6 goal difference (4). İlkay, Leao, Batrakov, Barış Alper, Yunus, Sane and Deniz Gül have 4 goals between them (6) (9). That is the stat nobody in the stands needs explained. The table says fine. The eye test says the attackers are leaving goals behind.

Leao is aiming for the derby
Rafael Leao is injured and wants to be back for the Fenerbahçe derby on 26 October (3). No date on his return beyond that target.
Bruno Fernandes link
Galatasaray are reportedly interested in Bruno Fernandes, whose Manchester United contract runs out at the end of the season (5). Treat it as a link, nothing more.
Youth League: Barça Juvenil A won 1–0
Barça Juvenil A beat Galatasaray 0–1 in the Youth League (12). Separate match, separate squad, no bearing on the first team.
Fan reactions
The subreddit is glued to the UEFA question, with one thread relaying that officials are monitoring developments in France around both Lille–Galatasaray and PSG–Barcelona (thread). A second posts that a curfew is being imposed in Lille starting this evening. Nobody is talking about football yet.
