The away win that changed the mood
Kampaniakos went to Pavlos Melas and won 2–3 in the A1 EPSM (1)(2)(3). That is the result the week hangs on. It was worth more than three points: it lifted the club in the table and it took the points off a side trying to close on the leaders.
Pavlos Melas coach Mintis did not hide behind the scoreline. «Με τέτοια εικόνα δεν πας πουθενά», he said (3). When the losing coach says that, the win was earned on the pitch.
Avgeros kept it simple afterwards: «Τα παιδιά προσπαθούν πολύ-βελτιωνόμαστε συνεχώς» (1). Effort, then improvement. The order matters.

Two goals down, and nobody folded
The other game was the 3–3 with AOK Agiou Athanasiou, from 2–0 down (4). Put those two results side by side and the trend is obvious. This team does not stop. It goes away and wins, and it comes back from two goals behind at home.
Avgeros used a wall metaphor: «Βρεθήκαμε με την πλάτη στον τοίχο» (4). Fair. But a side that keeps finding a way out of that corner has something in it. The trouble is that it keeps ending up there. 3–3 means a point earned and two dropped.
The defending is the bill that comes due
Two conceded at Pavlos Melas was survivable because the attack answered with three. Three conceded against Agios Athanasiou was survivable because the attack answered with three again. Six goals against in two matches is not a pattern you outscore every week.
This is the thing that decides where Kampaniakos finishes. The fight is there. The clean sheet is not. A team that has to score three to win loses the week the finishing is merely average, and those weeks always arrive.
What to watch
Watch the next A1 EPSM fixture. The climb up the table after the Pavlos Melas win is the platform (2), and the first question is whether the back line gets its first quiet afternoon of this run. If it does, draws start turning into wins. If it does not, comebacks keep being the story, and comebacks are the most expensive way to collect points.
Avgeros has his players running for him. Now he needs them keeping the ball out of their own net.
