Anton Höög signs new Malmö deal as Ekong nears Hajduk Split move

Höög signs until 2030

Anton Höög has committed his future to Malmö FF. The 19-year-old midfielder signed a new deal running to 2030 on Monday. "It feels super good and really fun to extend my contract with MFF. That they want to write a long contract shows I'm doing something right and that they believe in me. It means a lot," Höög said (2). He scored his first Allsvenskan goal two minutes into his cameo in the 4–0 dismantling of IFK Göteborg. Philip Berglund, another product of the academy, also signed a new long-term contract alongside him (2).

Ekong heading to Hajduk Split

Emmanuel Ekong is on his way out. Malmö FF have reportedly reached an agreement with Hajduk Split for the winger (1). No fee has been disclosed. Ekong has struggled for minutes and the move clears wages ahead of the Kalmar match on Monday.
