Bjørkan joins Malmö FF as Helstrup's assistant from Bodø/Glimt

Gaute Helstrup is bringing in his own man. Aasmund Bjørkan was at Malmö FF training on Tuesday, set to join as assistant coach from Bodø/Glimt (1). He arrives directly from the Norwegian champions, where he has been part of Kjetil Knutsen's staff during their remarkable rise. The move reunites Bjørkan with Helstrup, and the timing matters, Helstrup's first match in charge is against IFK Göteborg.
