Three points, Helstrup watching
Your team edged Degerfors 1–0 in the league restart on Saturday. Erik Botheim scored the winner, and new manager Gaute Helstrup watched from the stands (1) (4) (5).
It was not a spectacle. "A bit of a get-going match. Great that we got three points," Botheim said afterwards (1).
Aftonbladet's Michael Wagner noted the win showed no trace of Bodø/Glimt yet, which is not surprising since Helstrup has not taken the reins. Interim boss Guillermo Molins got the job done.

Analysts call Helstrup a big gamble
The coaching choice is raising eyebrows. Fredrik de Ron, a football analyst, did not hold back: "It's a huge gamble and there's a big risk it won't work out" (2).
The concern is Helstrup's lack of head coach experience at this level. He was Kjetil Knutsen's assistant at Bodø/Glimt, and de Ron drew a direct comparison to the Miguel Ángel Ramírez experiment, another appointment that promised philosophy before proof (2).
Eirik Horneland was the other Norwegian name in the frame. The club went with Helstrup.
Botheim welcomes the Garcia competition
Diego Garcia arrives from CD Leganés on a deal through 2029, and Botheim is not sweating the competition. "My job is to play," he said when asked about the new striker (3).
Garcia is a statement signing, a Spanish forward brought in while the World Cup complicates the broader market. Botheim clearly backs himself to keep his place.
