Busuladzic gets the eight role, Rosengren drops deeper
Gaute Helstrup has reshuffled his midfield, and Kenan Busuladzic is the main beneficiary. The young midfielder is now a regular starter as an attacking eight, while Otto Rosengren has been moved into a deeper role (1). Helstrup is clearly a fan of Busuladzic: "He is extremely talented and works hard every day. He deserves this chance" (1). Adrian Skogmar is also in the mix, but Busuladzic has won the shirt for now.
Thern: Malmö's centre-backs are too slow for Helstrup's high line
Simon Thern did not hold back. The former MFF midfielder says your team's centre-backs lack the pace to play Helstrup's high defensive line, and he called for signings before the window closes (2). The recent 2–1 defeat to Elfsborg, where Malte Frejd Pålsson saw red, underlined the fragility. Thern also took aim at IFK Göteborg's decision to replace only half their coaching staff: "You cannot just change one part. Either you go all in or you don't" (2).
