Charli Grant joins Malmö FF Dam from Tottenham

Malmö FF Dam have signed Australian international Charli Grant from Tottenham Hotspur (1). Grant knows Swedish football well, having previously played for FC Rosengård and Vittsjö in the Damallsvenskan, and she returns to the league after a stint with Vålerenga and Tottenham. "It feels fantastic to be here. When I was in Sweden playing for other clubs, Malmö FF were still a couple of steps further down the league system, but I kept hearing that they were on the way up and would soon reach the Damallsvenskan. It's impressive to see the development and how they've now made it to the top of the league," Grant said (1). She joins a side that just routed IFK Göteborg 4–0 on Sunday and sits ninth in the table under new head coach Gaute Helstrup.
