Anders Christiansen trained with the squad for 30 minutes on Thursday, his first involvement since the AIK match on April 27 (2). The MFF captain has been out with a lower-leg injury. No timeline yet. Helstrup called it a step forward and hinted Christiansen could play a wildcard role when he is ready (2).

Malmö FF are in discussions with Trabzonspor midfielder Batista Mendy (3). The 26-year-old has been told to find a new club. Mendy joined Trabzonspor from Angers in 2023 and has also drawn interest from Serie A sides (3).
