Häcken come from behind to beat MFF 1–2
Malmö FF lost the Damallsvenskan top-of-the-table clash at home to BK Häcken, going down 1–2 after leading. Häcken are now table leaders.
Malmö actually took the lead. Häcken keeper Fanney Birkisdottir gifted it, fumbling the ball for Wilma Carlsson to tap in her first goal of the season (5) (8). But the lead lasted only so long. Häcken flipped it, with 19-year-old Felicia Schröder and Tindell doing the damage. Schröder's finish was clinical, Tindell's was a dream strike (1) (2) (6) (8).
Malmö pressed hard and created chances, but the forcering never paid off (7). Häcken held on and walked away with three points and top spot (4).
Berglund becomes sporting director, but don't expect miracles
Philip Berglund is confirmed as Malmö FF's new sporting director (3). That's the headline. The reality check: he can't arrive as a saviour.
The club's problems run deeper than one appointment. The structure itself needs rebuilding. Berglund inherits a club that still needs a new architecture, not just a new face in the office (3).
