Helstrup's vision: Malmö tradition meets Bodø/Glimt football
Gaute Helstrup has his blueprint. Your new manager wants to blend Malmö FF's identity with the style he built at Bodø/Glimt, and he is talking about it openly. "We will take with us what has been here for many years. Then we will mix it with a lot of what Bodø/Glimt has stood for in recent years," the 50-year-old said (1).
A 4-3-3 is taking shape, and Helstrup made one thing clear: no mass signings this summer (3). The World Cup has complicated the market, and sporting director Philip Berglund echoed that. "We probably just have to dig where we stand," Berglund said (5). More players are heading out than coming in.
No limits on the season ahead
Helstrup sees no ceiling for this squad. "No limitations," he told reporters, sizing up Malmö's potential for the autumn (4). Lövik looks Molde-bound
The Mathias Lövik trail is going cold. Molde are now closest to signing the left-back, with reports putting the fee around €3.5 million (6). Malmö had been linked, but the rumour is fading.
Berglund on intensity, a back four, and Taha Ali

Eiriksdottir joins Malmö FF Women
The women's side has added Icelandic forward Hlin Eiriksdottir, formerly of Leicester City. "Too many things spoke in favour of choosing Malmö FF for me not to do it. It is a huge, exciting club with great facilities. I like the way the team plays football, I have a pretty good sense of it after talking to the coaches and watching a number of matches," she said via the club's statement (2).
