Jörgensen sale to Aarhus confirmed
Sebastian Jörgensen is gone for good. AGF Aarhus have triggered their purchase option and bought the winger outright after his loan spell (4). The move ends a disappointing stint in Malmö for the Dane. No fee details have been disclosed.
Jansson: "Rydström lost himself"
Pontus Jansson has opened up about his frosty relationship with former MFF coach Henrik Rydström. "He got lost in his ambition and philosophy, lost himself," Jansson said (1) (2). The centre-back is working his way back from an ACL injury and speaking candidly about the end of the Rydström era. Jansson also acknowledged his own exit was far from smooth. "Me and Henke had a pretty lousy split," he admitted (1).
Thern gives MFF a failing spring grade
Simon Thern has handed Malmö FF an underkänt rating for the spring half of the season. MFF were one of six Allsvenskan clubs to receive a failing grade from the analyst (3). Your team sits 9th after 10 matches with a goal difference of zero and just one win in the last five.
Missed out on Layouni
Malmö FF were in the race for Amor Layouni, but the winger has signed for Cypriot side AEK Larnaca instead (5). AIK and GAIS were also keen. Another target off the board.
