Lahdo debuts in a frustrating 0–0
Malmö FF 0–0 AIK on Monday, and Mayckel Lahdo's debut was the only thing worth taking from it. You could not break AIK down, but the 23-year-old winger came on in the 66th minute and immediately tried to change that (1) (3). He beat his man, had chances, and looked like a player who wants the ball.
Haksabanovic saw it too. "He takes his man on one-on-one every time he gets the chance, I got a bit of a Taha feeling there when he beat his guy," Sead Haksabanovic said after the match (1). Lahdo was flattered: "Those are kind words, of course," he replied (1).
Lahdo did not hide his frustration with AIK's approach. "All they do is sit deep and counter," he said (3). He was also hard on himself, promising more than he showed in his first outing in sky blue (10).

Head coach Gaute Helstrup is betting Lahdo can change something in this team. Malmö sit 7th with 30 points from 20 matches, and the goals have dried up in stretches. "We hope he can offer something different from the others," Helstrup told SVT (4). On the debut: "It was really positive and we can build from this" (1) (4).
Lahdo only arrived late on deadline day last week, joining on a four-year deal from AZ Alkmaar (6) (10). He had other offers but chose Malmö (2).
Mohammed off to Belgium
Yassin Mohammed is leaving on loan. The young Ghanaian joins KAA Gent until summer 2027, according to reports (9).
