3–0 against Nordsjälland, and a 16-year-old got half an hour
Malmö FF beat FC Nordsjälland 3–0 in a training match on Saturday. Lahdo scored in the 42nd minute, Milosavljevic in the 51st, Anum in the 82nd (2) (3) (9).
Leon da Silva came on. He is 16, a centre-back with roots in Chile and Brazil, and he got half an hour against the Danish side (8) (9).
Gaute Helstrup was not fully happy with the start. "Det var en väldigt nyttig träningsmatch för oss. Vi är lite passiva i starten mot ett bollskickligt Nordsjälland," he said (3) (5). A useful workout, but you were passive early against a team that keeps the ball well.

The derby is at Eleda on Sunday afternoon
Malmö FF Dam host FC Rosengård at Eleda Stadion on Sunday afternoon. Top against bottom, a full ground, and all the derby weight that comes with it (1).
Mia Persson is not changing anything about the build-up. "Vi vill ju inte göra nånting annorlunda när det leder upp till matchen," she said (1).
Jonas Valfridsson knows where it will be decided. "Duellspelet kommer att bli jäkligt viktigt," he said (11). Win your duels and you win this one.
Nanasi pushes back on Larsson
Hugo Larsson said MFF being outside the title race is becoming normal for him. Sebastian Nanasi was not having it.
"Jag tycker absolut aldrig att man ska bli van med dessa situationer i Malmö," he said (4) (12). Never get used to it. He is right, and it is the line most fans will repeat.
Jansson: the level in other teams is depressingly bad
Pontus Jansson is out injured but he is already talking about 2027. He is sure Malmö FF can fight for the title next year.
"Nivån är beklämmande dålig i många lag," he said about the Stockholm clubs and the rest of the top flight (7) (14). MFF won the league in 2023 and 2024, then finished sixth last year and missed Europe. You sit 7th now on 33 points from 22 games, with Kalmar FF at home on Monday, October 12 (7) (14).
