Adjei is in on loan with a buy option
Malmö FF have confirmed Raphael Adjei, an 18-year-old midfielder, on loan with a purchase option (2) (4). He spent two months on trial at the club this spring (4). He was born on 15 June 2008 and his most recent club was Accra Golden Boys FC (4).
"This is a big opportunity," Adjei said (2).
Philip Berglund on what you are getting: "Raphael is a technical central midfielder who can be used in several different roles. He is technically skilled and comfortable with the ball at his feet. We see great potential in him and hope he continues to develop in our P19 environment" (2).

Ellborg on picking Malmö over Kalmar
Melker Ellborg grew up in Kalmar and turned down Kalmar FF for Malmö FF (1). "I saw it as a way to get outside my comfort zone," he said in the Lundh podcast (1).
His full answer: "Right then it was a bit of a choice between Kalmar FF and Malmö FF. I visited Kalmar FF and got a very good feeling there, but I think the overall picture was best at Malmö FF" (1).
