Milosavljevic open to a loan after six Allsvenskan minutes

Milosavljevic open to a loan, six months in

Jovan Milosavljevic arrived for €2.2m and has played six Allsvenskan minutes since (1) (2). The 19-year-old forward is now open to leaving on loan. "It has been a difficult half-year," he said. "I am open to everything" (1). Helstrup's system currently has no natural spot for him, and Philip Berglund is ahead in the pecking order (2). A move would give him minutes somewhere else and reset a debut season that never got going.

The bigger picture: eighth, and Europe looks distant

Malmö are eighth, three points off a Europa League spot after 14 rounds. The 2–1 loss to Elfsborg at Eleda Stadion was the first under Helstrup and it stung. Malte Frejd Pålsson saw red and apologised publicly. The squad is thin on wingers and the defence has looked fragile. Three wins in five reads decent on paper, but the performances have not convinced.

Bolin is flying in Germany

Hugo Bolin has three goals in two preseason friendlies for Borussia Mönchengladbach. His loan was made permanent and he looks like he belongs. A reminder of what MFF can produce, even if the senior side is struggling right now.
