Helstrup takes the sideline
Thursday is Gaute Helstrup's first match as Malmö FF head coach. He watched from the stands as Guillermo Molins and Mario Chavez guided the team to a 1–0 win at Degerfors. Now the Norwegian steps onto the sideline with Malmö sitting eighth, 16 points from 11 matches, with two straight wins behind them.
Diego Garcia, the new Spanish striker, could be available after missing the Degerfors match. Jens Stryger may be playing one of his last home games, the right-back has opened the door to a summer move with his contract expiring in December.
