Miguel Angel Ramirez sacked, Molins takes interim charge
Malmö FF have parted ways with head coach Miguel Angel Ramirez. The decision was confirmed Tuesday, with Guillermo Molins stepping in as interim manager.
Molins didn't hide the mood: "Vi måste hitta rätt för att nästa era ska starta," he told SVT Sport, describing a heavy atmosphere around the squad (2).
The sacking comes with your team sitting 12th in a 16-team league, nine games in, on the back of five straight losses. Something had to give.
Horneland linked to permanent role
Eirik Horneland has emerged as a candidate for the Malmö FF job, according to reports (1). No formal approach confirmed yet, but the name is out there.
Molins holds the fort for now. Whether Horneland or someone else takes over permanently, the priority is clear: stop the slide, and fast.
