Sjöstrand demands more from himself
Victor Sjöstrand has not hidden from it. The midfielder says he expects much more from himself after the summer break (1).
"Jag förväntar mig mycket mer av mig själv," Sjöstrand told bollsvenskan.se. He acknowledged he has not reached his level yet this season and sees the second half of the campaign as a chance to reset (1).
With Helstrup now in charge, that reset is real. Sunday against IFK Göteborg is the first page of the new era.
Thordarson and Seidu out for Göteborg
Two key IFK Göteborg players are already ruled out for Sunday. Kolbeinn Thordarson and Issaka Seidu will both miss the trip to Eleda Stadion (2).
That is a break for your team. Thordarson has been a central figure in Göteborg's midfield. His absence, plus Seidu's, takes bite out of the visitors before the first whistle.
