Västerås SK 2–0 Malmö FF, and it was ugly
Your team lost 2–0 at Hitachi Energy Arena on Saturday. Axel Sountonoma Taonsa scored both, in the 14th and 52nd minute, the second a dagger right after the restart (9)(4)(12). Both goals came from Jens Magnusson assists (5). VSK climb to fourth. You sit sixth on 33 points, and the gap to the top is now double figures after Sirius beat Örgryte (11).
Rosengren and Haksabanovic both forced off
Otto Rosengren went down with a problem Gaute Helstrup could not diagnose. "He had a small injury and we don't know the outcome. He was in some pain, but we don't know much about it yet" (1). Sead Haksabanovic also came off: "Sead took a knock. We'll see how serious it is with him" (1). Two more names on an absentee list that was already long.
The penalty that wasn't
Jens Stryger went down in the box and got nothing. TV4 expert Nordin Gerzic had no doubt: "I think it's a penalty. He clearly hits me on the foot" (2). Daniel Gudjohnsen was angrier still: "It's a bit crazy actually, I think it's stonewall" (3). VSK had taken the lead early by then (2).

Helstrup: not a finished product
The head coach did not hide from it. "We are not a finished product. There is a lot we can do better. There is plenty to work on, especially when we go behind and have to chase" (9).
Haksabanovic stays, and Helstrup is glad
The window shut with Sead Haksabanovic still at Malmö FF after interest from abroad (10). Helstrup welcomed it: "I feel it's good now the window is closed. It might be good for 'Haksa' too, that he knows he'll be here now" (10).
