City Football Group made an opening offer of £8.7m for Flamengo defender Joao Victor and it was rejected (1) (2). The 19-year-old Brazilian is on the CFG radar, which covers Manchester City among its clubs. No word yet on whether a second bid is coming.
Diomande at Leipzig, City are watching
Yan Diomande is a name to file away. City are one of several clubs monitoring the RB Leipzig teenager after Liverpool had their own opening bid turned down (3). No formal offer from City yet, just interest. Diomande is 18 and highly rated in Germany.
