City found guilty on 114 of 115 charges
An independent commission has found Manchester City guilty on 114 of the 115 financial rule breaches the club was charged with (1)(4)(10). That is the story, and every City fan knows it. Sanctions are still undecided, and an appeal is expected (10).
The club's own line has not changed: "The Premier League process is still ongoing, significant parts remain to be completed, and the process is subject to strict confidentiality" (10).
United and other clubs are counting the cost
Manchester United are working internally on how much money they lost because of City's alleged breaches (2). Other Premier League clubs have taken legal advice on whether they can claim compensation (3)(4). Any payout would land on top of whatever the commission decides.

A fine, not a deduction, is what rivals expect
Rival clubs expect City to be fined rather than hit with a points deduction or relegation (4) (6). That is the working assumption inside the league, not a decision. If City's appeal fails, a fine is the most likely outcome (4).
Rodri: "I believe in the club's innocence"
Rodri backed City publicly. "I believe in the legal system and I believe in the club's innocence," he said at his press conference before England's match on Saturday (9) (11). He was at City for the years under scrutiny. He is not a neutral voice.
Past titles could end up elsewhere
Some former Liverpool players are already expecting Premier League titles to be handed their way (1) (5). That is the part that stings. Your trophies, the ones you watched, could be reallocated to rivals (6). Nothing has been decided on that front.
Cassim went to United
Karim Cassim, born 12 September 2009, moved from City's academy to Manchester United in summer 2026 (7). He is a box-to-box midfielder and one of the more talked about English talents of his age group (7).
Fan reactions
The mood on r/MCFC is defiant more than defeated. One thread points out the single unproven charge is reported to be among the most serious of the 115, and another asks how anyone can prove certain players gave City an advantage when this squad might have won anyway. Others simply posted "Fuck the 114 charges" and moved on (r/MCFC).
