Haaland fit, three doubts for Villa Park
Erling Haaland is available. That is the headline before your team's trip to Aston Villa on Saturday, 24 October, 12.30pm UK time at Villa Park, live on TNT Sports 1 with HBO Max as the stream (2).
O'Reilly, Nunes and Kovacic are doubts (2). Three names, one midfield, and a villa side waiting at home. You are top of the league on 21 points from seven games, with a goal difference of +12 and form reading W W L W W.
Maresca rates Cherki among Europe's best
Enzo Maresca did not hedge. Before the Villa game he called Rayan Cherki one of the best players in Europe (1).
That is the manager putting weight on the Frenchman in the attack, and it comes right before a match where the front line matters. Villa away, early kickoff, and Cherki with a public endorsement from his coach.
What is next
Brighton & Hove Albion at home on Saturday, 31 October, 16:00 CET. Then RB Leipzig away in the Champions League on Wednesday, 4 November, 21:00 CET.
