Howard backs Sullivan to thrive at City
Tim Howard is not worried about Cavan Sullivan. The 17-year-old is contractually obligated to join Manchester City from Philadelphia Union when he turns 18, and the guilty verdict against City for breaching Premier League financial regulations from 2009 to 2018 does not shake Howard's belief in the move (1). "They've bought a lot of players, given the financial situation, but they also know how to produce players," Howard said (1). Sullivan has seven goals and 14 assists in 20 regular season starts for Philadelphia Union. City sit top on 21 points after the 2–1 loss at Aston Villa on Saturday, with Brighton & Hove Albion next at home on Saturday, October 31.
