Hall talks incoming
United are preparing club-to-club talks with Newcastle for Lewis Hall, a left-back INEOS rate highly (1) (7). The fee being floated is around £60m. With Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia both at the club, left-back has been a problem position for too long, and Hall would be a long-term fix.
Lewis-Skelly also on the radar
The left-back search is not limited to Hall. United have made contact to explore whether Arsenal would consider selling Myles Lewis-Skelly this summer (4). The 19-year-old broke through under Mikel Arteta and would not come cheap, if Arsenal even pick up the phone.
Rashford is back, Flick says goodbye
Marcus Rashford is back at Carrington after his loan at Barcelona ended. Hansi Flick was direct: "I'll miss him" (2). What happens next is unclear. A reintegration under Michael Carrick, or another departure.

Yoro: 'We can win the league'
Leny Yoro did not hold back. "Of course. We're Man Utd, so we have to think like that," he said when asked if United can win the Premier League this season (3). He pointed to the mood in camp: "We work really hard, and outside the pitch, we have a good vibe, a good mood." United beat Atletico Madrid 2–1 and Rosenborg 5–0 in pre-season, losing 1–0 to Wrexham (3).

Altay Bayindir is closing in on a move to Celta Vigo (5). United are expected to take a loss on the goalkeeper, who arrived as an Amorim signing but never established himself.
