Rashford back for Milan
Marcus Rashford is back. Michael Carrick named a 26-man squad for Saturday's friendly against AC Milan in Wroclaw, and Rashford is in it, along with a trio returning to the group (7). It is United's final pre-season test before the Premier League opener at Hull City on August 22.
Carrick: £85m is not enough
Carrick has gone to the board with a direct message. The £85m United have spent this summer is not enough to fight for a first title since 2013 (8). Rivals have outspent United comfortably. With only Andrey Santos, Youri Tielemans, and Karl Darlow through the door, Carrick wants more before Deadline Day.
The midfield still needs legs

Tielemans on the move
Youri Tielemans did not hide how it felt. "It's a great feeling. As if you've achieved something. Especially when I was younger, Manchester United was the club worldwide. They won everything" (9). Carrick wants him dictating the tempo of the side, and Tielemans says the manager sees himself in the Belgian.
Quansah interest, Camara priced out
United are in active talks for former Liverpool centre-back Jarell Quansah, with Arsenal and Liverpool also involved in the picture (3). Separately, Monaco want more than €60m for Lamine Camara after rejecting Crystal Palace's bid, and United are named among the suitors (4). That fee is steep.
