Haaland decided the derby
Manchester United 0–1 Manchester City at Old Trafford on Sunday. Erling Haaland scored the winner (2) (3) (7) (8) (12) (13). That is the game your team will be talking about all week. City had Phil Foden sent off in the 23rd minute and still won it.
The VAR call you are still angry about
United got an apology. The VAR officials who let Haaland's goal stand will be kept off United matches, and they have been stood down for at least the next round of Premier League games (4) (12) (13). Howard Webb is going public to explain the decision himself (13). He will outline why VAR gave the goal.
Bruno in the middle of Foden's red
Alan Shearer went after Bruno Fernandes over his part in Foden's dismissal. His word for Bruno's reaction: "pathetic" (11). Foden's red left City with 10 men on Sunday.

Scholes is not convinced by Lammens yet
Paul Scholes has questions about Senne Lammens. "What team have you seen win the Premier League without a top-class goalkeeper? Lammens might be that, I don't know, I think the jury's probably still out on that," he said (3) (6). United have conceded seven goals in four league games. Lammens arrived last year after Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir fell out of favour (3).
Baleba pencilled in for Leeds in October
United are targeting the Leeds United fixture in October for Carlos Baleba's debut (1) (2) (7). He signed with a pre-season ankle injury and has not played yet. Baleba is unavailable for the League Cup tie on Wednesday (5).
De Ligt is back on the grass
Matthijs de Ligt has trained with his teammates a few times, with a return to action in October or November (2) (7). He last played in November, when Ruben Amorim was still in charge at Carrington (2). United have not kept a Premier League clean sheet this season (7).
Brighton up next in the cup on Wednesday
United face Brighton & Hove Albion in the Carabao Cup third round on Wednesday. It is Michael Carrick's first domestic cup game in charge (9). Last season United went out at Grimsby Town on penalties in the first round (9). Andrey Santos is in line for his first start, with Carrick set to rotate (5).
Two left-backs on the radar
Federico Dimarco is one to watch. His contract talks with Inter Milan have stalled and United are monitoring it, along with Barcelona (8). Separately, United could return for Alejandro Balde in January, with Barcelona asking €40m (10). United looked at Balde in the summer and he has not played for Barcelona yet (10).
Fulham away on Sunday
Next up in the league: Fulham away on Sunday, 17:30 CEST. United sit 13th on four points from four games.
Fan reactions
The derby VAR call is the thread every United fan is in. The mood is a mix of relief at the apology and frustration that it came only after the points were gone, with the blocked officials getting most of the attention. The most active discussion is the derby VAR thread.
