The derby is five points, not three
Sunday at Karaiskaki against Panathinaikos, 20:00 CEST. Your team is five points behind them in the table (3). That is the whole story of this week.
You sit fifth with 10 points from five games, and the form line reads W D L W W. Beating Asteras Tripoli 0–1 away, then Levadiakos 0–1 away, then Jagiellonia Bialystok 2–1 at home. The OFI CRETE 0–1 home defeat on September 12 is the one that still stings.
The striker decision
Olympiacos have a difficult call to make on their centre-forward before Sunday (3). No decision has been announced yet.

Levi García is out
Panathinaikos already know they play Sunday without Levi García. He will not make the derby (7). His recovery is going better than expected and points to a quicker return than first feared (7). One less problem for you.
Eight internationals back at Renti
Eight internationals have returned to Renti ahead of the derby, and Imanol Alguacil is closing in on an empty treatment room (9). Olympiacos are waiting on Froiler, Carmo, Gonzales and Puerta to arrive in the coming hours (9).
Dorsey and Olympiacos still apart
Tyler Dorsey and Olympiacos remain far from an agreement on extending his contract, per reports out of France (1). Talks are ongoing, the gap is still there.
Then Marseille
After Sunday comes the Europe trip. Olympiacos go to Marseille on Thursday, October 15 at 21:00 CEST in the Europa League, then to Panetolikos on Sunday, October 18 at 16:00 CEST (Schedule).
