Retsos returns, and Giovanni's son joins too
Olympiacos made it official on Friday. Defender Dimitris Retsos is back at the club, and Brazilian attacking midfielder Giuliano Lobo de Oliveira, son of club legend Giovanni, has also signed (1). Two arrivals that bring experience and a name the Karaiskakis faithful will recognise immediately.

NEC, who frustrated Olympiacos at the Karaiskakis with a 0–0 draw, are now shifting focus to their domestic opener (4). Manager Dick Schreuder has been managing a brutal schedule of travel and training through the qualifying rounds. Their European run continues, but the Dutch side now have league business to handle.
Stadium plans moving forward
