Palmer-Brown rejects Turkey, stays at Panathinaikos

Palmer-Brown says no to Turkey

Erik Palmer-Brown is staying. The American centre-back rejected a lucrative offer from a Turkish club and will remain at Panathinaikos this summer (1). That is a win for new head coach Nistrup, who gets to keep a key central defender as he reshapes the squad.

Branco Boudio is expected in Athens on Tuesday for medical tests ahead of signing. The club are also competing with PAOK for Georgian midfielder Kotsorashvili. Height has been Nistrup's priority, and both targets fit the profile.

Former full-back Giannis Kotsiras has officially returned to Asteras AKTOR, closing his Panathinaikos chapter.
