Pelistri stays, Nistrup made the call
Facundo Pelistri is staying. Manager Jacob Nistrup has decided to keep the Uruguayan winger in the squad for the new season, despite interest from Hull City (1). The 24-year-old will compete for minutes on the right flank alongside Livai Garcia, with Pavlos Pantelidis still out long-term after that fibula fracture.
Pelistri's retention gives Nistrup genuine depth on the wing. Garcia arrived on loan from Spartak Moscow with a purchase option, and both were registered in time for the CSKA 1948 second leg (1). Stefanos Kotsolis was involved in the final decision to keep Pelistri, backing the manager's call (1).
