Ataman furious: refereeing, fines, and a shot at Martinez
Ergin Ataman did not hold back after the final buzzer. He called out Valencia coach Pedro Martinez for implying the referees had helped Panathinaikos, and demanded to know why Martinez has not been punished for it (1) (8). Ataman said he has already paid 35,000 euros in fines this season and cannot speak freely about officiating (15) (16). His message on the series: "We will fight, if everything is fair" (1).
