PAOK push for a striker and a centre-back before the window shuts
PAOK are moving late in the market and have two names in front of them. Mihailo Ivanovic, a 21-year-old Serbian striker, is the top target and is valued at around €11 million (1). A free-agent centre-back is also under consideration (1).
A striker remains the priority at Toumba, and the club is pushing to get a deal done before the period closes (1).

PAOK have announced the signing of Alexander Berger (2) (3). The club confirmed the move, and it is one of the bigger additions of the window.

B team draw 1–1, Olympiacos furious about the late penalty
PAOK B 1–1 Olympiacos B at Toumba in the first Super League 1 match for the B teams. Zougklis put PAOK ahead in the 73rd minute, and Sifnaios equalised from the spot deep into stoppage time (4).
Olympiacos did not accept it quietly. Kostas Karapapas wrote that referee Chatzipanagiotou from Epirus saw a goalkeeper save as a supporting hand, and Avramoulis was involved in the incident (5). His line: \"First match for the U23 team, first result altered\" (5).

The derby is the next stop. PAOK host Aris on Sunday, September 13 at 20:00 CEST, then travel to Panetolikos on Saturday, September 19 at 20:00 CEST.
