PAOK held 1–1 by Brann as Konstantelias exit ripples

Brann hold you to 1–1 at Toumba

PAOK 1–1 Brann in the first leg. Not the result you wanted before the trip to Bergen. Scoring chances were thin, and the tie is decided there now (3).

Konstantelias is gone

Giannis Konstantelias has left for Borussia Dortmund, around €26m. Leo Matos steps into a sporting director role as the club reshapes around the sale (1) (2).

Coutinho linked

PAOK have their eyes on Philippe Coutinho as the replacement for Konstantelias. The 34-year-old is at Vasco da Gama and won the treble with Bayern. Nothing agreed yet (1) (2).

Hatzidiakos: "life or death"

Pantelis Hatzidiakos did not soften it. "It's a life or death game," he said of the return leg. He admitted the defence has to improve: "We keep the positives and there are a lot of things to fix" (4). He also asked the fans to stay close: "It's very important that the people stand beside us."

Fan reactions

Supporters are not hiding their worry about where the goals come from. The main thread puts it bluntly: play Luces and Hatzidiakos, or face Russian roulette in Bergen next week. PAOK–Brann 1–1
