Valencia veterans win Spanish F-7 championship

Valencia CF's veterans' team are national champions after beating Atlético de Madrid 2–0 on Saturday to win the Campeonato de España de Veteranos F-7, the Torneo Solidario FEAFV 25/26. Club legends including Juan Sánchez, Fernando Giner, Solozábal, Míchel Herrero, and Manolo featured in the final, bringing a rare piece of silverware to a club where the first team's season has been defined by drift and distance between the squad and owner Peter Lim (1).
