Two points gone again, three matches without a win
AIK 1–1 Mjällby at Strawberry Arena. Jacob Bergström headed Mjällby in front, Axel Kouame equalised before half-time, and that was it (1)(6). Three straight without a win now. You sit seventh in the Allsvenskan on 33 points from 21 games, and the European places are seven points away (2)(7).
Andreas Brännström was back in Solna in the away dugout, and his Mjällby took a point off you. "Med tanke på matchbilden är vi nöjda med en poäng," he said (5).
Wallinder was the reason you did not lose
Robin Wallinder kept Mjällby in it. Save after save, and he picked his favourite afterwards: "Den var den skönaste" (9)(10). Ali Youssef hit the crossbar early (6). Abdihakim Ali came away as AIK's best player (1).

Two points dropped at home, from chances you should have buried.
Ali is talking about staying
Abdihakim Ali's contract runs out after the season, and he has started talks with AIK. "Ja, vi har haft konversation fram och tillbaka med AIK, så vi får se hur det blir," he said (1). He set up the equaliser and was your best player on the night (1).
Assadi still has not won in an AIK shirt
Lucas Assadi started again and played 75 minutes against Mjällby (15). Three appearances, 174 minutes, no goals, no assists, no wins (15). The Chilean forward still looks short on confidence (15).
Nordfeldt has retired from Sweden duty
Kristoffer Nordfeldt has ended his international career. He spoke with Graham Potter on Monday, and the family came first. "VM blev ett bra avslut," he said (8). Your first-choice keeper is now club-only.
Your new centre-back pair like what they have
Wilmer Olofsson and Hervé Matthys are building something in the middle. "Vi har bra kommunikation på planen," Olofsson said (13). That is one bright spot in a defence and a home record that keep costing you points (4).
Halmstad away on Sunday
Halmstad, away, Sunday at 14:00 CEST. A win there stops the slide before it becomes a real problem (7). You have not won since Hammarby on August 30, and the 1–4 home loss to Västerås SK is still the low point of this run (2).
